The Vancouver Skiers Cross Country and Touring Club

This is a fun, very social group of long time (and brand new) Nordic ski enthusiasts.  There are over 200 members - classic, skate and back country ski (and snowshoe too).  The club has a long history of promoting Nordic skiing, great club events and socials.  They offer scheduled chartered bus trips to cross country destinations throughout BC and the northwest U.S.A for its members at low group rate prices. Other day trips offer car pooling and comraderie to and from the trails.  

In recent years the club has focused on encouraging new members to join in the winter fun,  offering informal ski buddy intros and tips to more organized clinics for technique improvement.

Cypress Mountain has participated in club day clinics for their members and also offer group/club season pass and lesson discounts.  You won't meet a friendlier, more enthusiastic group of skiers anywhere!
