Cypress Mountain now boasts four quad chairs, including two high speed express chairs, our Easy Rider quad, designed specifically for beginners and our Aerial Handle Tow. Two double chairs and our magic carpet servicing our kids camp area, bring the total number of lifts to 9. Spectacular views of downtown Vancouver, English Bay, Georgia Strait and Howe Sound are yours to enjoy from our 51 downhill runs.

Cypress Mountain is proud to offer 40% expanded terrain for the 2007-2008 season. Nine new runs have been created bringing our total skiable area to 300 hectars. If it’s the rush of the half pipe that you’re looking for, Cypress has got it. The 07/08 winter season will see the opening of our new 22 feet high Olympic Super Pipe, the only half pipe on the North Shore!

Enjoy the latest equipment available for rent and professional instruction from one of Western Canada’s most respected Ski and Snowboard Schools. For Après Ski, relax in Growlies Bar & Grill or enjoy our sun deck and full service cafeteria.
Be sure to check out our Bell Power Park, located under the Midway Chair; Skiers and riders are now able to loop the Power Park on the Midway Chair Lift all day long! With its host of hits and freestyle features you will be able to ride night or day as the park is completely lit for night operation.
What’s New!
Cypress Mountain is the official Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard venue for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. We will be hosting both Snowboard (Super Pipe, Parallel Giant Slalom and Snowboard Cross) and Freestyle Skiing (Moguls, Aerials and Skier Cross) competitions.
All venue development will be completed prior to the start of the 2007/2008 winter season, including a state of the art, fully automated snowmaking system. In addition, Cypress is installing the new “Lion Express” High Speed Quad Chair opening this winter.
Another exciting project underway is the new Base Area Lodge scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2008. This 50,000 sq ft lodge will house a Cafeteria and Licensed Pub, Corporate Meeting Area, Retail Store, Ski School and Snowboard Rentals.
