1/5/2009 10:00:00 PM   Conditions: Low Overcast Base Temp: 0 °C Fresh Snow: 36 cm Snow Depth: (base area) 202 cm   Cypress Mountain will re-open tomorrow between 9:00am and 10:00pm with all lifts scheduled to be in operation, with the exception of Sky Chair, which will be undergoing snow management until further notice. Raven Ridge Quad Chair closes daily at 4:00pm. Good Winter tires, 4 wheel drive or chains are mandatory for travel on the Cypress road. The Canadian Avalanche Association has continued the HIGH AVALANCHE WARNING for the Backcountry areas of the South Coast Mountains. SKIERS OR RIDERS GOING BEYOND THE BOUNDARY MARKERS WILL HAVE THEIR LIFT PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED.
