Season pass protection is now included with your 2024/25 Season Pass.
Prior to February 28th, Cypress Bowl Recreations Limited Partnership. (DBA Cypress Mountain) will defer the pre-tax amount of your Season Pass to the following season, for a fee according to the Schedule of Coverage in the event of: Injury, sickness, pregnancy or death of a Passholder which prevents participation in the sport.

The date of non-participation shall be the latest of:
- The date the Season's Pass is surrendered to Cypress or
- Where due to injury, pregnancy or sickness of the passholder, the date of the ultimate diagnosis which results in the non-participation; or Pre-Existing Condition. Any condition for which the Passholder received treatment in the 180 days prior to the purchase date of the ski pass will make the Pass Protection Program coverage invalid.
The Pass Protection Program does not cover loss cause by:
- Intentionally self-inflicted injury;
- Emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions unless the Insured is hospitalised;
- Any injury or sickness that does not prevent participation in the sport for which the Season's Pass was purchased;
- Re-location or moving outside the Lower Mainland/Vancouver Area;
- Loss from any event which at the time of purchase could reasonably have been expected to occur;
- Poor weather conditions.
- The Pass Protection Program is valid only if purchased concurrently with the Season's Pass.
- Non-participation must be on the written advice of the attending physician (self-diagnosis by a physician is not valid). Signed Doctors note must be provided with full details.
- Cypress must be notified and the Season's Pass surrendered within 45 days of non-participation. Notification beyond this period will not be accepted.
- The cost of the Program is non refundable.
- Calculation of the deferral amount is from the date of completion of the required paperwork from making a claim.
- The Deferral amount will be applied towards a season pass the following season and will not extend to future seasons.
- The Deferral amount is non transferable and is only valid for use towards a season pass the following season for the original passholder.
- There will be no pass activity after the initial claim date.
- 1. Once a claim is made, the pass is considered void/inactive for the current season and will not qualify for any perks/discounts/benefits that may be offered on season passes the following season, including the renewal price and associated perks.
- The deferral schedule applies regardless of Seasons Pass usage.

We promise that you'll get good value for your current Cypress Mountain Season Pass purchase and we'll back it up with our Season Pass Guarantee. The Guarantee is available as an optional purchase with any Season Pass (Gold, Silver, Cross Country or Starlite Night Timer)
We will guarantee a minimum of 76 operating days during the season in which you purchased your pass for - for every operating day less than 76, 1% will be credited to the purchase of your Season Pass for the following season up to a maximum of 76%

- An "operating day" in the Downhill Area is considered to have been tallied when the Cypress Mountain Downhill Area is open for a minimum of 6.5 hours anytime during the full day period (9 AM - 10 PM)
- An Operating Day in the Cross Country Area is considered to have been tallied if the Cross Country Trails are open for a minimum 6 hours anytime during the full day period (9 AM - 10 PM)
As a participant in this Guarantee program, you acknowledge that every snow season is different - during some seasons the snowpack is deeper than others, some seasons are longer than others, some seasons have reduced terrain and lift operations, and some seasons start late or end early. Our Guarantee to you is that we will undertake every effort to provide the best possible conditions and most possible terrain open all season, every season. This effort may come in the form of snowmaking, snow hauling or snow pushing but you can be assured that every possibility will be pursued to get you as many Skiing or Riding days as possible. Cypress Mountain has the largest Snow Cat grooming fleet on the North Shore as well as a most productive "State of the Art" Snowmaking system - this together with our Guarantee provides you with the best security for your local Season Pass purchase!
- Your Cypress Mountain Season Pass is non-refundable including in the event of a short season, or late starting/early ending season - the Season Pass Snow Guarantee will apply.
- Your Cypress Mountain Season Pass is non-transferable.
- Your Season Pass Guarantee Add-on is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The "Minimum Operating Days" noted above are for the duration of the entire season, regardless of Ski Area opening or closing dates, or mid-season interruptions.
- No guarantee is provided regarding weather conditions or the depth or amount of snow during any season or any Operating Day.
- No guarantee is provided for the number of open runs or the available terrain during any Season or any Operating Day.
- Any credit discount would be based on number of days the mountain is operating as defined above, and not your individual pass usage.
- Credit discounts can only be applied to the purchase of next year's season pass and are not considered as a refund for the current season.
- Credit discounts are applied to the same pass type as previously purchased.
- Credit discounts cannot be transferred to another person.
- Not valid for Sky Cards or Passes associated with any Lesson Programs; Lesson Program Passes are a bonus and have no cash value.
- You will be required to apply any applicable Season Pass Assurance discount to the purchase of a 2024/25 Season Pass on or before May 31, 2024.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for Gold, Silver and Cross Country Season Passes. Payment Plans are available in four equal payments.

Payments can be managed through customer "My Account " on Aspenware.
- Add-ons such as Snow Guarantee, Seasonal Rentals, Cypress Bucks purchases are not eligible for payment plans and will be paid for in the initial payment.
- Season Passes will only be valid once all payments are completed.
- If payment plan is not completed, payments collected will be forfeited and no refunds will be issued.
- All products are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased.
