The Eagle Coaster ride will take off from the top of Eagle Express Quad Chair on Black Mountain and travel over 1700 metres with 279 meters of vertical drop. Riders can control their own speed by using the brake and can safely reach thrilling speeds of up to 40 km per hour winding down the track with forested vistas and exciting bends in the track. The Eagle Coaster is suitable and great fun for all ages and physical capabilities - young tots (ages 3+) can even experience the thrill of riding in the lap of an adult!

Please note, leave larger bags and backpacks in a secure spot (like your vehicle or with a friend) while riding the coaster. We will have open storage available at the bottom of the lift for any loose items you are comfortable leaving while you take your ride

Please note there are no washrooms at the top of the chairlift, where the coaster begins, so please use the facilities inside the Cypress Creek Lodge prior to your coaster ride if needed

Safety and Rules

    1. All dates and hours of operation are subject to weather conditions or logistics issues.  Cypress Mountain reserve the right to close the Eagle Coaster due to inclement weather or conditions that may affect the operations of the Mountain Coaster. 

    2. To ride alone you must be 8 years or older and 4’1” or taller
    3. The maximum weight capacity per cart is 118kg (260lbs).
    4. Lift operations, hours and reservations are subject to change without notice
    5. Minimum or 16 years of age to ride with a passenger in the cart
    6. Passengers must be a minimum age of 3 and up to 7 and are required to ride the coaster with an adult. Minimum of 96cm (3' 2") tall. Passenger must be no taller than the driver's shoulders.
    7. Riders must have sufficient physical dexterity, ability and knowledge to safely load, ride and unload the coaster.
    8. Use of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
    9. The coaster is not recommended for pregnant women and those with pre-existing neck or back injuries.
    10. Obey attendants at all times.

• Any litigation involving the Operator shall be brought solely within British Columbia and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the British Columbia Court.

• These conditions and any rights, duties and obligations involving the Operator shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and no other jurisdiction.
