Happy St. Paddy's Day!
It is hard to believe that it is Spring Break already. The season will be soon wrapping up, so be sure to get up to the mountain while you still can. Until April 11th at least.
Nick greeted us in the parking lot today, directing us to our spot. There weren't as many cars in the lot today as I thought there would be for a holiday week. Great for us!
On the mountain, all lifts were up and running today so riders were well dispersed. Lift lines weren't bad at all. And for entertainment, we had Victor doing the Bee Gees groove on Lions Chair. Love the fun energy.
The temps were fairly warm today, making the snow soft and forgiving. My pick of the day is Jasey-Jay Anderson's Gold, which has a great pitch for nice turns.
It was great seeing some folks celebrating Saint Patrick's Day today with their green outfits. One mom and son who usually come every Wednesday for night skiing were able to come during the day today with school out. Her son has been skiing since he was four years old! Go mom.
Back at the Crazy Raven I saw a boarder doing some computer work in between his runs. I had actually caught a shot of him on the mountain as I noticed his great Irish jersey. So great these days that our work can be portable.
Luck of the Irish to you all!
