LOVE & JOY COME TO YOU
DUNDARAVE CHRISTMAS FAIR ❈ WORLD CHRISTMAS ❈ NATIVITY & PADDLE SONGS ❈ WASSAIL NIGHT
The ultimate Canadian Christmas leaves no one out in the cold. In the true spirit of the season, the Festival's "Forest of Miracles" calls out the better angels in all of us. For the very first time, the Forest of Miracles this season has expanded to cover the West Vancouver waterfront, from our very first site at Dundarave Beach eastward to Millennium Park and the Grosvenor Ambleside Galleria. Sponsored and decorated by families, community groups and businesses, the Festival's Christmas trees on beautiful Dundarave Beach have raised over a third of a million dollars since 2008 for the Lookout Society's North Shore Shelter. West Vancouver's firefighters deserve special mention for their heroic effort in planting this forest and supporting the Shelter.
The collection of trees in the Forest of Miracles is a sight to see and all for a great cause. It’s also a nice addition to what is already one of the most beautiful places in the entire Lower Mainland. Heading to Dundarave in the late afternoon is also really nice. You can see the Christmas trees in the daylight and then go for a walk along the seawall towards Ambleside. You can then walk back to Dundarave at around dusk in time to see the trees again with all their lights at night.
