    How many years have you worked at Cypress? 2 | Why do you LOVE working here? Working at Cypress has always been a natural fit for me. I'm surrounded by like-minded individuals who thrive being outdoors and love adventure. I've met so many genuinely good people during my time at Cypress who I'm now fortunate enough to call my friends. Coming into work everyday with others who have a love of learning and working outdoors really adds to the overall positive environment and inviting nature. The support I've received while working here as well as the learning experiences are unmatched, and for me, what makes Cypress such a special place to work. | Do you Ski or Snowboard? Snowboard | What does IWD mean to you? IWD to me is the celebration of the social, economic and political achievements of women. It is also a reminder of the countless women that have fought and set precedent for us in my generation as well as those that continue our fight for equality for women all over the globe. It is a day to not only reflect on how far we have come but how far we still have to go. I am fortunate to celebrate with my fellow colleagues at Cypress Mountain who I know share similar values and support equity for women. | What’s your International Women’s Day message? My IWD message is to be mindful of the theme of this year's IWD which is #EmbraceEquity. I think this is very important as it emphasizes that equal opportunity isn't enough, as people start from different places therefore true inclusion requires equitable action. |

    How many years have you worked at Cypress? 6 / Why do you LOVE working here? The people and the snow / Do you Ski or Snowboard? I Snowboard and have dabbled with skis. This season I have been learning the art of Cross-Country skiing (and falling over)! / What does IWD mean to you? International Womens Day is a chance to recognise all the fantastic ladies that we work with and get to meet every day. An opportunity to be proud of each other, to continue supporting each other and to acknowledge our achievement's. / What’s your International Women’s Day message? Keep being your amazing selves, do what you love and love what you do! /

Snowboard / What does IWD mean to you? A chance to remember the past and let it shape a better future. / What’s your International Women’s Day message? You can do anything you want and set your mind to to if you're willing to put the work in. /

We have a great team here who work together towards a common goal. There’s nothing quite like the energy of working in a ski resort | Do you Ski or Snowboard? Ski | What does International Women’s Day mean to you? I’ve been fortunate in my career to be able to assist in the growth and development of some incredibly talented young women. Being able to help further the career of young women means a lot to me. Being asked to be a mentor is not something I take lightly. | What’s your International Women’s Day Message? It’s important to have a day to celebrate women and their achievements and to highlight areas of bias and discrimination whilst increasing visibility of women from minority backgrounds. | What's your International Women's Day message? Women should be celebrated and should hold each other up.

    How many years have you worked at Cypress? 4 Winter Seasons, One Summer Season | Why do you LOVE working here? I absolutely love working at Cypress Mountain. While working here I have met the most amazing and diverse people and have worked some equally amazing and diverse jobs. The Mountain has not only given me the best jobs I've ever had (and I honestly mean that), but my co-workers and leaders here continue to educate me and help me grow both personally and career wise. | Do you Ski or Snowboard? I snowboard! I went snowboarding for the first time last winter season and instantly fell in love with the sport. | What does IWD mean to you? Internationals Womens Day will forever be a day to celebrate how far we have come in the world as Women and recognize all the amazing female role models we have in our lives. I constantly feel privileged that I am able to feel equal to my male co-workers and peers as there were women not long ago fighting to have that become a reality.

Its sick being able to snowboard before and after shift and all the people that work here (rentals specifically) rock | Do you Ski or Snowboard? I think it’s a good reminder to keep having conversations about gender inequality with the people around you | What’s your International Women’s Day Message? Girls CAN snowboard

I get to Snowboard every day with new friends that i have made from all over the world. | Do you Ski or Snowboard? Snowboard | What does International Women’s Day mean to you? A day to celebrate the struggles and achievements of women and to remember how far we have come as a collective. After centuries of patriarchy, inequality and disadvantage, we are finally seeing lights at the end of the tunnel. | What’s your International Women’s Day Message? Be proud of who you are and never shy away from standing up for your beliefs.
