Nordic Lessons Conditions of Sale

As a Lesson Program Participant, I understand and hereby agree to the terms and Conditions of Sale as follows:

1. A Valid Trail Tickets or a Season Pass: Is required for entrance to all Cypress Mountain trails and terrain, this includes our learning area.

2. Season Pass/Seasonal Rentals: If you have purchased a season pass or seasonal rentals, we recommend picking them up and being fitted prior to the lesson start date to avoid wait times on the first lesson day.

3. Minimum Participant Requirements: Some programs require a minimum number of participants. If minimum registration is not met 72 hours before the start of the program, the program may be cancelled or rescheduled at the discretion of Cypress Mountain.

4. Weather: Skiing is an outdoor sport and lessons will run during all conditions.

5. Rescheduling:

   1. Skate Clinic programs may be rescheduled as a whole (we cannot accommodate single day reschedule requests) according to the terms below:

      1. A 15% fee will apply to requests outside of 72 hours.

      2. If rescheduling is requested within 72 hours of the Camp start date, a 50% fee will apply. Rescheduling is subject to availability and price differences apply dependent on product dates. To request a reschedule please inform us via email nordic@cypressmountain.com.

      3. Customers will receive a credit to which they can book their desired program via the Cypress Mountain website.

   2. Group and Private Lessons can be rescheduled according to the terms below:

      1. A 15% fee will apply to requests outside of 72 hours.

      2. If rescheduling is requested within 72 hours of the Camp start date, a 50% fee will apply. Rescheduling is subject to availability and price differences apply dependent on product dates. To request a reschedule please inform us via email nordic@cypressmountain.com.

6. General Cancellation: All lesson programs are non-transferable and non-refundable.

   1. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, and cancellations sometimes are inevitable. Please let us know soonest at nordic@cypressmountain.com if you are unable to attend your reserved session date and time.

   2. In the event of cancellation by Cypress Mountain, you will be issued with a credit equaling the value of the lesson missed. The credit can be used in the current or future season.

   3. No-shows/late arrivals forfeit lessons.

7. Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather: All lesson programs run regardless of weather conditions when the mountain is open.

   1. Please contact us at nordic@cypressmountain.com if you are considering cancelling due to unfavorable weather. Cypress Mountain Nordic area operates in inclement weather such as heavy snow, rain and extreme cold. Our staff are prepared to adapt programs in variable weather.

   2. Admin fees and/or loss of lesson cost will apply if we are notified within 72 hours of your scheduled activity.

   3. Cypress Mountain reserves the right to cancel and reschedule booked dates including but not limited to:

      1. Adverse weather-related closures

      2. Limited natural resources (snow base)

      3. Unforeseen circumstances that limit the ability to provide a safe and beneficial environment for learning

      4. Cancellations made by Cypress Mountain due to adverse weather conditions will not be penalized.  We will make every effort to reschedule your Lesson/Kids Camp or Skate Clinic booking to another available date.

8. Absenteeism: No compensation or reschedule option will be offered if the participant is unable to attend any, or all, of their lessons.
   
   1. Group and Private Lessons
      1. No compensation or reschedule option will be offered.
   2. Multi-Day Skate Clinics
      1. In the event the first and second Skate Clinic is missed, the remaining sessions will be forfeit and no compensation will be given.
   3. Multi-Day Kids Camps
      1. Attendance is especially important for the first day of the program.
      2. In the event the first and second lesson are missed camp will be forfeited and no compensation will be given.

Late Arrivals:   Late arrivals will not be compensated for lesson time lost.

Late Pick Up:  Kids Camps and Private Lessons | Please pick up your children on time. Late pick-ups of children ages 12 and under will be subject to a $30 per 30-minute fee.

Resort Closure:  If your lesson is cancelled due to mountain closure, Cypress Mountain will contact you and issue a credit in e-voucher form. The value of this credit will reflect the value/portion of the lesson missed.

All lessons and products, once purchased, are non-transferable and non-refundable.
