PAY PARKING FAQ

  • Pay parking is required in all parking areas except parking lot 3B and the Nordic Area access road from Cypress Bowl Road to the BC Parks Nordic Area Kiosk.

  • If you are a 24/25 Season Passholder, or if you have a 3-, 4- or 5-day Sky Card, you qualify for free parking. You will receive a link to register your license plate(s) prior to October 9, 2024.

  • Prior to October 9, 2024, you will be sent a link to submit your license plate information. This will qualify you for free parking for the entirety of the season.

  • Yes, it does not matter when you buy your seasons pass or Sky Card, you will still qualify for free parking.

  • Free parking is available in parking lot 3B, and on the Nordic Area access road from Cypress Bowl Road to the BC Parks Nordic Area Kiosk.

  • We are implementing pay parking to create a better experience for our guests. Demand for parking exceeds the available spaces. People wait and circle lots causing long traffic line ups on Cypress Bowl Road during peak times. Our goal is to improve the guest experience, by providing an incentive to use other options, a car-pool app or coach transportation. We will see less cars on the road, improving the experience for everyone.

  • If you purchased a 1- or 2-day Sky Card prior to this announcement, you will receive free parking and a link to register your license plate will be sent prior to October 9, 2024.

  • Yes, please email info@cypressmountain.com and our Guest Services team will return the lift ticket and credit that amount towards a 3-, 4-, or 5- day Sky Card.

  • Yes, please email info@cypressmountain.com and our Guest Services team will return the 1- or 2-day Sky Card and credit that amount towards a 3-, 4-, or 5- day Sky Card.

  • Lot 3B and the Nordic Road from Cypress Bowl Road to the BC Parks Nordic Area Kiosk provides free parking for parks users. Pay parking is in effect in all other lots.

  • Lot 3B and the Nordic Road from Cypress Bowl Road to the BC Parks Nordic Area Kiosk provides free parking for backcountry parking. Pay parking is in effect in all other lots.

  • If you purchased a Nordic Pass or 3-,4-, or 5- day Nordic Sky Card, you are eligible for parking in any lot.  

  • Overnight parking is only available in lot 3B. There is no cost to park in this lot.

  • Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather. If the weather is poor, we will not refund the cost of parking.

  • If you have an oversized vehicle, we ask that you park in lot 3B. This lot is free & we have a parking lot shuttle bus available to bring guests to Cypress Creek Lodge.

  • Charging Stations are available at the top of lot 1A on the exterior of the Cypress Creek Lodge Building. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you require a charging station, please pay for parking in lot 1A and let the attendant know, they will direct you to the correct location.

  • Yes, accessible parking is available at the top of Lot 1A in the downhill area, and across from the Nordic Ticket Office in the Nordic Area. Please ensure you have a valid hang tag; our parking attendants will direct you to the correct spots.

  • You can register up to two license plates per pass or Sky Card. Only one registered vehicle can be used per day, you will be able to select which vehicle you will use in the parking management portal.

  • Yes, you can change the license plate registered by logging into your account and updating. Note, only one license plate can be active at a time.

  • Yes, starting this season, Cypress Mountain operates a free Parking Lot Shuttle service that will pick-up at lots 3B, 3A and 2 and drop off at the Cypress Mountain Base Areas.

  • Cypress Mountain will be reinvesting a portion of the funds to improve the parking experience.

  • Yes, we will be announcing our carpooling platform before the season starts.

  • Cypress Mountain will be offsetting the costs of paid parking for those that carpool. Details to come when the platform is released.

  • Parking will cost $10/day for lot 1B, 2, 3A and Lot 4 in the Nordic Area.

  • No, lift tickets do not include parking costs. Seasons Passes & 3-, 4-, and 5-day Sky Cards are the only products eligible for free parking.

  • You will be able to pay for parking through an app or at a pay station in the parking lot with credit card or a Visa/Mastercard debit card.

  • No, we will send a link to registered cabin owners to register their license plates for free parking in Lot 4.
