Season Pass Deferral Program
We understand any concerns you may have with potential COVID-19 impacts this upcoming winter season at Cypress Mountain. Your concerns may be health related, regarding physical distancing and sanitization, or they may relate to potential capacity restrictions, which may affect your normal enjoyment of our snow sports facilities this winter.
Health authorities in Canada have continued to recognize and promote the benefits of outdoor recreation activity subject to adherence to the health and safety guidelines that we have all been dealing with over the past many months. This is encouraging for the outdoor winter activities, which we provide. This is encouraging for the outdoor winter activities we provide.
Our team at Cypress Mountain staff has been working all summer behind the scenes in preparation for the upcoming season and dealing with the uncertainties, which still appear to be affecting the future. The safety and welfare of our employees and guests will always be our priority as we plan ahead and we have undertaken many initiatives which we expect will lessen any concerns that our Season Passholders may have for participation in recreation at our Resort this winter. We look forward to updating everyone regularly as we close in on opening day.
Cypress Mountain also wishes to assure you that any investment you have made, or will make, in the purchase of a 2020/21 Season Pass will provide you with value either this winter or next winter if you decide to defer your Pass to the 2021/22 Season. If you have already purchased a Season Pass or purchase during our Early-Bird Sale ending September 30, 2020, you are automatically enrolled in our Season Pass Deferral Program, which will permit you to defer your Pass to the following season prior to midnight November 15th 2020.
Please note that any Pass purchased on or after October 1, 2020 during the Pre-Season Sale will no longer include the Season Pass Deferral Program and will not have any deferral option to the 2021/22 Season.
On November 6th 2020 we will announce details of our expected operating parameters and any Health and Safety guidelines which we expect will impact our daily resort operations. This will give you a window of opportunity to decide if you wish to use your Season Pass this season or opt for use next season (2021/22 Season) - Fill in the form below if you wish the deferral option. Public Health and Safety protocols continue to change on an ongoing basis so we have chosen November 6th 2020 as a date when we can reasonably commit to outlining the specifics of how we will be conducting our operations for the start of the season. We expect that given the normal five-month operating season, changes will evolve and we are hoping that they will change for the better as the winter progresses into peak season in January and February.
The long range weather forecasts all appear to be favourable for a good snow season, so we hope that we can all enjoy the winter and that Cypress Mountain can provide all of our guests with an enjoyable experience despite all of the impacts around us!
