We understand any concerns you may have with the continued impact of COVID-19 next winter season at Cypress Mountain. Your concerns may be health related, regarding physical distancing and sanitization, or they may relate to potential capacity restrictions, which may affect your normal enjoyment of our snow sports facilities this winter.
Health authorities in Canada have continued to recognize and promote the benefits of outdoor recreational activities subject to the adherence of health and safety guidelines that we have all been dealing with over the past year. This is encouraging for outdoor winter activities, which we provide.
The safety and welfare of our employees and guests will always be our priority as we plan ahead. We have undertaken many initiatives which we expect will lessen any concerns that our Season Passholders may have for participation at our Resort next winter. We look forward to updating everyone regularly throughout 2021.
Cypress Mountain also wishes to assure you that any investment you have made, or will make, in the purchase of a 2021/22 Season Pass will provide you with value either next winter, or the winter after, if you decide to defer your Pass to the 2022/23 Season. Our Deferral Program will permit you to defer your Pass to the following season prior to midnight September 1st, 2021.
Please note that any Pass purchased after April 11th, 2021 will no longer include the Season Pass Deferral Program and will not have any deferral option to the 2022/23 Season. The deadline to defer your pass is September 1st, 2021.
We expect that given the normal five-month operating season, changes will evolve and we are hoping that they will change for the better as the winter progresses into peak season in January and February.
