Each session begins with a comprehensive introduction, ensuring your safety with a thorough review of guidelines and a demonstration of basic axe throwing techniques. Once equipped with the necessary knowledge, it's time to put your skills to the test and aim for the bullseye. Throughout your session, an experienced Axe coach will be by your side, ready to assist and ensure you have a blast, creating a memorable and competitive axe-perience that will stay with you.

KNOW BEFORE YOU THROW

  • Whether you buy online or in person, head to Guest Services to check in for your session!

  • You get 10 Axe Throws per ticket

  • No, each ticket of 10 throws is for the individual ticket holder who has signed the waiver for Axe Throwing, each person participating must purchase a separate ticket.

  • Axe throwing can be done under most weather, however if inclement weather does arise and interfere with the operation, you will be contacted as soon as possible by our Guest Services team.

  • Our standard waiver needs to be signed by a parent or guardian for any minor (anyone under the age of majority) to participate.

    For groups of minors, a parent or guardian needs to stay with the group while they are throwing. No un-waivered minors may be left on premises without their parent or guardian’s supervision.

  • Closed toe shoes must be worn by all guests participating in axe throwing.

  • Yes. The minimum age is 10 years old to participate in axe throwing. Participants aged 10 - 18 years must be accompanied by a legal guardian

  • Please note, only axes provided by Cypress Mountain are permitted to be thrown at the targets at any time.

The Fine Print

  • All dates and hours of operation are weather and conditions permitting. Cypress Axe Throwing will close if conditions are unsafe (ie. lightning, high winds, hail, etc.)
  • Session includes 10 throws.
  • All products are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased.
  • Always visit the Downhill or Nordic Conditions page or our Snowphone at 604-926-5612 for daily operating hours and condition updates before heading up the mountain.
  • Lift operations and hours are subject to change without notice.
  • Resale, Replication, Loan or Transfer of this Pass/Card is fraudulent and illegal.
  • Prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Your use of these premises and facilities and participation in activities on the premises involve various risks, dangers and hazards. As a condition of your use of the premises and facilities and your participation in activities on the premises, you assume all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT ON THE PART OF THE OPERATOR OF THE PREMISES AND FACILITIES and its employees and representatives (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Operator").

• You agree that the Operator shall not be liable for any personal injury, death or property loss and release the Operator from all liability and waive all claims with respect thereto.

• Negligence includes failure on the part of the Operator to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from or warn you of the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above.

• Any litigation involving the Operator shall be brought solely within British Columbia and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the British Columbia Court.

• These conditions and any rights, duties and obligations involving the Operator shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and no other jurisdiction.
