Departing from the top of Black Mountain, this captivating ride spans over 1700 meters and boasts an impressive vertical drop of 279 meters. Brace yourself for a gravity-fueled escapade that twists and turns, providing an adrenaline-pumping experience like no other.

Control your own speed using the handbrake, allowing you to tailor the intensity of your ride. Safely reach thrilling speeds of up to 40 km per hour as you immerse yourself in the summer air and take in the breathtaking landscape of Vancouver and beyond.

The Eagle Coaster is not just an activity for the daring; it's also family-friendly and suitable for all ages and physical capabilities. Even young tots as young as 3 years old can share in the excitement by riding in the lap of an adult, ensuring that the thrills are accessible to everyone.

    • Lift tickets are included with your coaster ride.
    • All dates and hours of operation are subject to weather conditions or logistics issues.  Cypress Mountain reserve the right to close the Eagle Coaster due to inclement weather or conditions that may affect the operations of the Mountain Coaster.
    • To ride alone you must be 8 years or older and 4’1” or taller.
    • The maximum weight capacity per cart is 118kg (260lbs).
    • If you have purchased a two ride ticket the rides must be used back to back before the ticket expires.

    • Lift operations, hours and reservations are subject to change without notice.

    • Minimum of 16 years of age to ride with a passenger in the cart or passengers must be no taller than the driver's shoulders when seated in the cart together.
    • Passengers must be a minimum age of 3 and up to 7 and are required to ride the coaster with an adult. Minimum of 96cm (3' 2") tall. Passenger must be no taller than the driver's shoulders.
    • Riders must have sufficient physical dexterity, ability and knowledge to safely load, ride and unload the coaster.
    • Use of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
    • The coaster is not recommended for pregnant women and those with pre-existing neck or back injuries.
      Obey attendants at all times.
    • Animals are not permitted on the chairlift or coaster.

    Please note, leave larger bags and backpacks in a secure spot (like your vehicle or with a friend) while riding the coaster. We will have open storage available at the bottom of the lift for any loose items you are comfortable leaving while you take your ride.

    Please note there are no washrooms at the top of the chairlift, where the coaster begins, so please use the facilities inside the Cypress Creek Lodge prior to your coaster ride if needed.

  • All dates and hours of operation are weather and conditions permitting. Cypress Coaster will close if conditions are unsafe (ie. lightning, high winds, hail, etc.)
  • All products are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased.
