Mountain FAQ's

Sunset on Cypress

General

  • We usually open for the season between mid-November and mid-December. However, each year is different and entirely dependent on natural snowfall and depth.

  • Visit our Hours of Operations page to view this seasons hours.

    Start of Night Skiing

Opening for night skiing depends on snow depth/conditions, but traditionally our night skiing opens mid December.

    End of Night Skiing

Typically night skiing slowly tapers down late March.

The start of nights really depend on additional snow coming in, giving us a little more comfort with coverage due to lessened visibility at night. As far as the end date, it depends a lot on freeze/thaw conditions that start occurring in spring as well as the amount of new snow that we may or may not be receiving that time of year.

  • To keep everyone safe this year, all lift tickets require advanced online purchase. If you already have an RFID card, you can keep reloading this all season with new tickets and go straight to the lifts without queueing at the window.

  • Opening Day to Night Skiing begins:

    Full Day ticket: 9am – 4pm
    Afternoon ticket: 12pm – 4pm

    November 25th - December 24th:

    Full Day ticket: 9am – 10pm
    Afternoon ticket: 2pm – 10pm
    Nite Owl ticket: 5pm - 10pm

  • On December 24th & 25th we are open from 9am-4pm. Our afternoon ticket rate will begin at 12:30pm for Christmas eve and Christmas day only. We will return to normal 9am-10pm operations on December 26th.
